The truth about the Vampire Legends
Modern civilization decrees the existence of vampires, but these are supposed to live. The history throws light on various vampire legends, which is remarkably an evidence to support their existence. Many of the popular fictional stories borrow their character from these legends.
Vampires were associated with ghosts and demons in earlier times. Tales relating to the existence of vampire legends subside all over the world. The famous character of Dracula, created by Bram Stoker, is believed to have been originated from Transylvania region of Romania. The appearances of these vampire legends are demarcated from each other, and it depends on the place it belongs. For instance, those vampires that originated from Transylvania were supposed to have beautiful pale skin with long fingernails, while in Russia, the witches that rebelled against the church, were doomed to turn into these blood sucking characters.
The Bulgarian vampire were supposed to have only one nostril, whereas in china, there is a popular belief that if a cat or a dog jumps over a dead body, it transforms to the undead. Similar stories can be traced in other countries too.
